How to use this tool

  1. ① Explore, see the territory. Switch Points / Heat / DP Zones / List (each explained below). Use the filters (score, new or lapsed, core, promo, account type) to narrow. Click any store dot for its score and why.
  2. ② Set your day, set a Start, an Anchor and an End (type an address + Enter, or tap 📍 and click the map). The anchor is the store the day is built around, and it is always kept. Tick Round trip to finish back at your start. Set your workday times and lunch, then hit Build my day, the app fills your working hours with the highest-value stops within about 20 minutes' drive of the anchor.
  3. ③ Day sheet, opens automatically once your day is built: the route on a clean map, every stop with its why, and faded dots are stores inside your radius that still fit, click one to + Add to day.
  4. Adjust: ✕ removes a stop · + Add to day from any store card · "Suggested nearby" lists the best stops inside your radius that still fit. After edits, hit ↻ Refresh road times.
  5. Take it with you: ↗ Google Maps opens turn-by-turn on your phone · ⤓ Excel downloads the day sheet with the why for every stop.
Good to know: active filters also limit what the router picks (an amber banner warns you). Your last built day is remembered on this computer. If map clicks ever stop responding, refresh the page (F5), your day comes back. Stops tagged "Approx" have an approximate pin. Data date is shown in the header.

The Explore views

  1. Points, every store as a dot, colored by score tier. Click a dot for the store's detail.
  2. Heat, where opportunity concentrates: brighter areas have more high-scoring stores close together.
  3. DP Zones, each ZIP code is shaded by the DP warehouse serving the most stores in it. Click a numbered badge for that DP's top opportunities. Where case shipments say a different DP actually services a store, the badge popup tells you how many.
  4. List, every store in a table. Click a column header for Excel-style sort & filter; click a row for the full score math.

How the score works

  1. Store Volume, how big the store is overall (TDLinx total weekly sales, all products).
  2. Whitespace, priority g2g SKUs the store is authorized for but hasn't bought in 13 weeks. (Not scored for NAM, chain HQ owns assortment.)
  3. Cases Decline, how much the store's g2g cases dropped vs the prior 13 weeks.
  4. Dollar Opportunity, the weekly g2g revenue at stake (cases × net price).
  5. Promo Value, value of promos the store isn't fully buying into. A current promo counts at full weight; an upcoming promo counts at a reducing weight the further out it starts, so you can get in before it begins.
  6. Display Whitespace, full points if the store has no active display (sell one in); partial if a display is up but under-filled.
  7. Core Coverage, full points if a must-cover core account hasn't been visited this quarter.
  8. MDM Impact, can your visit actually move this store. Full points for traditional independents and for Walmart; zero for everything else, including national accounts an MDM can't influence and independents whose ABP roll-up is owned by an RSM.
  9. Visit Latency, how long since the last visit (never visited = full points).
Each component is measured 0–100 and all nine count equally (~11% each), so the final score is 0–100. Why most scores sit in the 45–55 band: few stores max out many components at once, so scores bunch together. They still rank correctly, a 55 genuinely beats a 50, and the "Top %" filter works on that ranking, so the bunching doesn't change what you see. Build my day also balances your day toward roughly 25% unvisited core, 50% national accounts you can actually move (a promo or display is on, or it's a Walmart) and 25% independents. National accounts with nothing on fill in around them, but the day is never built around them, because there's nothing for you to sell. It nudges under-represented types in and never breaks your working hours or leaves your anchor radius.
